Project Details: With no filter to clean their drinking water that they gather everyday, WIN provided a filter to each of the 30 families for temporary relief (14 Black Berkey® Purification Elements and 16 local ceramic filters). Each Black Berkey® Purification Element filters bacteria and viruses without the need for boiling. The lifespan for each purification element is 3,000 gallons while the local ceramic filters can last for an average of 5 years. Thank you to WIN Donors and Berkey® by NMCL.
