Project Description: Without funds to buy effective filters to clean their drinking water for their students, WIN provided 6 Black Berkey® Purification Elements to this community school with the help of Berkey® by NMCL. Each Black Berkey® Purification Element filters bacterias and viruses without the need for boiling. The lifespan for each filter element is 3,000 gallons. Located in the Mahadev Daada Village Community where WIN funded the repair and replacement of their 2km pipe distribution system, the combination of these two projects provides both students and their families with easier access to clean drinking water for years to come.
