Patlychaap Village Community
Updated: Sunday, March 22, 2020

Status: Complete

Project Description: Stones, mud, and leaves not only contaminate this community's water supply, but they clog the pipes while being transported through their 2km distribution system. These disruptions stop the flow of drinking water for the whole village community, forcing community members to spend hours hiking up steep terrain to properly fix the pipe distribution system. WIN's funded 17.5 ft. by 12 ft. by 3 ft. filtration tank (cement, bricks, rods) has a dual purpose: filter their water and provide easier access to drinking water. This tank can last for generations to come.

Number of Beneficiaries: 1250 Nepalese

Location: Godawari, Nepal
