Status: Complete

Project Description: Each of these government, local institutions work with infants and toddlers, yet they are short on resources to buy filters to clean the drinking water. With the help of Berkey® by NMCL, WIN installed 4 gravity-fed, advanced purification elements with a 6-gallon Berkey® Crown Filter in each institution. Each Black Berkey® Purification Element filters bacterias and viruses without the need for boiling. The lifespan for each filter element is 3,000 gallons.

Number of Beneficiaries: 74

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal / Lalitpur, Nepal
